We are pleased to annouce a performance update for 4.20 QSV boards which remedies the freezing issue reported by some users. The performance update relates to both the NXP mcu and Smart Fusion FPGA onboard. Please be sure to follow the instructions in the readme.txt carefully. This is imperative in order that the update will be completed successfully
A similar performance update pack is currently undergoing BETA testing for 4.20 (non QSV model) and 4.30A boards and addresses freezing issue reported by a minority of users and also includes 2k series auto eject fix and 2k series BMD-061 drive controller fix. v2.85B :
- Added an option to download PS3 covers from Global Options -> Tools -> Download Cover
- From Options -> Game Update you can uptade/download the current game selected cover
- Covers are download from http://www.gametdb.com (than you very much to GameTDB by the support )
- language.ini are updated with two new text strings (Download Cover and Game Update)
- Some perms problems from hdd0 solved.
- Rudirastelli PS3_ISO_TOOLS_V1.6B_U.rar removed by some problems to create ISOS (use makeps3iso.exe only to create ISOS)
v2.81 :
- Improvements in the creation of ISO (makeps3iso) that resolves the problem with MGS4. It is recommended to update to this version, although the problem has been submitted as only happens in very specific cases.
- Improvement in Iris Manager so that it is not updating the size free disk drives whenever you change directory (which causes slowness to show files)
v2.80 :
- In ISOs now take the title name from PARAM.SFO (so far picked the name of the file), and also displays the background image of the game in the options.
- New PSX support for Cobra/Mamba from "Payload without disk": works with the same versatility as the old PSX support but adding NTFS/EXTx units, thanks to the new plugin that allows you to change up to 8 PSX isos (unplugging / plugging the NTFS/EXTx device in this case to change the iso)
Changes for PSX to Cobra/Mamba "Payload without disk" mode regarding the old are the following:
(1) All games now use the plugin as a general rule. The games /dev_hdd0 and /dev_usb00x can use the old emulation (payload PSX) by selecting "old_emu" or "old_netemu"
(2) To eject / insert disc, changes in the following (remember that from the plugin in Cobra/Mamba and "Payload without disk" mode only):
- If the game is in NTFS/EXTx must unplug / plug this USB device
- If the game is in /dev_hdd0 or /dev_usb00x the first device with a FAT partition that will be used (device "/ dev_usb") and if this fails, the first USB device that is connected not FAT (NTFS/EXTx for example) is that is taken into account.
- Remember to unplug the led will Flash
(3) If the ps1_rom.bin is used and hold L2 on the gamepad when launching the game, it is also possible in NTFS/EXTx run the rom, without any CD to be able to copy / delete data from the memory card that you are using the game (useful to handle Internal_MC.VM1). You must exit the emulator after you finish, because the old PSX payload is used.
(4) Leaving the emulator, there is the possibility of launching the game from disk, but in doing so, the video snaps to the system PAL/NTSC region, you must select memory card from the emulator and take into account that if the game does not belong to your region, will it freeze
Note: Remember that writing in EXTx support is not implemented, so the exclusive card memory cannot be used internally. Not currently have no disk partitioning as EXTx for testing, so that if any if and problems, so comentáis me.

- Built from 4.53 OFW
- COBRA 7.00 Features Ported!
- Added category_game.XML for webMAN by default. (My Games)
- Patched All Core OS ECDSA Check
- Patched LV1 to disable LV2 Protection
- Patched LV1 to add peek/poke support
- It can run Games Signed with Keys up to 4.53
- Install Package Files
- ReActPSN patch
- RSOD Screen Bypasses
- QA Flag enabled by default
- PSN/SEN acsess without spoof needed
- Add In Game ScreenShot Feature
- PSP Support
- PS1 Support
- PS2 Support (see below)

Changelog de cette nouvelle version :
1.PS2 for semi-bc PS3 working as per user by using this method:
1- Start PS3 with the controller via usb.
2 - Launch PS2 ISO.
3 - The game starts and the controller loses the sync but i'm able to resync it.
although its been said its buggy and sometimes games launch and sometime not..
2.PS2 for non-bc ps3
3. Not tested ps2 support for bc console
4. Used Estwald's new core edited by me,check below for changelog....
NOTE: ps2 will have controller synch if used modded emu (see below)
CORE:
In this CFW I have by default added original ps2_emus for ps3 so that if you are disturbed with controller sync problem, you can use original emu for ps2.to enable/disable modded ps2 emu,use ps2 flag ive created.put a 0 byte file named "ps2" in usb/core_flags/ .then put the usb in the rightest port of ps3 and turn ps3 on,if everything goes right, the ps3 should restart and flag ps2 will rename to _ps2
if ps2 emu for bc or semi-bc console doesnt work or you see them buggy, use ps2 flag and swap back to original emu....

With the new year, comes a new exciting big update from the Cobra Team.
This is the most advanced update yet and it packs a lot of new features for Cobra users including PS1, PS2 and BD Movie support.
The Cobra Team has been hard at work in the past couple of months to bring you the MCU 1.9 update.
As initially promised, this update adds support for PS1 games, PS2 games (only on backward compatible consoles), DVD movies and BD movies support. Another interesting feature is the ability to hot swap your HDD. You can now remove and change your games HDD while the PS3 is on.
The update also has a lot of stability improvements, bugfixes and most freezing issues introduced in recent updates have now been fixed.
We have also updated the genps3iso tool, now with IRD v9 support. Both genps3iso and genps3extra have now also been released as a native linux binary for linux users. The Cobra Manager and Cobra Browser have also been updated to add the support for PS1 and PS2 games, as well as DVD and BD movies. The third party library is also updated to allow other managers to take full advantage of these new features.
The Cobra database has also been updated with 1342 total game discs supported.
We would also like to take this opportunity to let our users know that we are aware of some issues with the new v4.20 and v4.30 boards and 2xxx console models, and we are working hard on fixing the issue as soon as possible. In the meantime, if your BD drive is unresponsive, use the eject button to turn on your console instead of the power button, as it will fix the issue and the ODE will function correctly.
Enjoy
