Les nouvelles conditions d'utilisation de Sony

Après avoir mis à jour le firmware des PS3 en version 3.70, Sony décide aussi de mettre ses conditions d'utilisation à jour. Mais ce qui est le plus intéressant dans une de ces conditions est la suivante : Sony se réserve le droit de ne plus offrir d'offre Welcome Back si un nouveau piratage du réseau PlayStation Network se présentait.

We are writing to provide you with notice of changes to the Sony
Network Entertainment America Inc. (“SNEA”) Terms of Service and
User Agreement, which will be effective August 9, 2011, and Privacy
Policy, which will be effective August 11, 2011.

The revised Terms of Service and User Agreement and Privacy Policy
apply to PlayStation®Network and Qriocity™ account holders, their
sub-accounts, if any, and any visitors to SNEA web sites.

Continued use of your PlayStation Network or Qriocity account or any
SNEA web site means you agree to the new Terms of Service and User
Agreement and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the new Terms of
Service and User Agreement or Privacy Policy, please contact Customer
Service to terminate your PlayStation Network or Qriocity account.

we will change the marketing options to allow Sony Computer
Entertainment America (“SCEA”) and SNEA to market to you about Sony

The marketing options available on the PlayStation Network via
PlayStation 3 and PSP (PlayStation® Portable) systems will be updated
prior to August 11, but any changes you make in your marketing options
there will not be effective until August 11, 2011.

Please note that all account holders may update their marketing options
in the Notification Preferences within the Account Management section
of their PlayStation Network or Qriocity account accessed through the
PlayStation 3 and PSP (PlayStation® Portable) systems starting
August 9, 2011. Account holders may update their marketing options in
the Notification Preferences within the Account Management section of
their PlayStation Network or Qriocity account via the Qriocity.com
website starting August 11, 2011.
